Rayha McPherson
Research Assistant, Psychology Department
Rayha graduated from Harvard College with a BA in Psychology (CNEP) and African American Studies. While in school, she explored projects related to mindfulness, meditation, yoga, creative writing, and collective modes of healing.
Rayha is interested in working with structurally disadvantaged youth, and seeks to contribute to non-pathological understandings and approaches—grounded in culturally relevant, embodied contemplative practices—of/to addressing complex forms and manifestations of trauma (particularly, “intergenerational”).
Rayha also loves trees, anything active, poetry, books, sushi, fermentation, organismal biology, listening to and playing music, moss, and her friends and family.
