Kendall Tinianov
Kendall graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022 with a B.A in Psychology and Biology. She previously worked as a study coordinator and lab manager at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, examining emotional development, psychopathology, and early life stress in children. She is interested in researching the psychopathological consequences of trauma and early life stress, with a focus on suicidal ideation and an ultimate goal to inform and improve accessible treatment methods. Currently, Kendall is a research assistant in the Mental Health Research Program at Franciscan Children's Hospital, and primarily works on an NIMH funded study aimed at developing a novel intervention to reduce suicide risk in youth. She also works on several collaborative projects between the Nock Lab and the Mental Health Research Department at Franciscan Children's, all focused on suicide prevention among adolescents. Kendall plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the lab, she enjoys rock climbing, reading poetry, and exploring Boston.
