Justice Herrera

Justice Herrera graduated from San Diego State University in 2024 with a B.A. in Psychology. Before joining the Nock lab, she worked as an undergraduate research assistant at SDSU, focusing on body image and its impact on health behaviors such as eating disorders and suicidal behaviors. She also worked in a lab specializing in community-based participatory research, serving individuals on the Autism spectrum. Justice's research interests include severe mental illnesses within Indigenous and other ethnic minority populations, particularly in assessing and preventing suicide. She aims to reduce suicide rates, foster community engagement, and develop accessible, tailored interventions for Indigenous populations using community-based participatory research methods.
