Hope Neveux

Machine Learning Engineer, Department of Psychology

Hope is a Machine Learning Engineer working on analyzing, featurizing, and modeling data gathered during various clinical psychology studies. She obtained a B.S from Marist College in Applied Mathematics and Data Science & Analytics with concentrations in Computer Science and Actuarial Science. In 2024 she graduated with an M.S in Data Science from the Harvard School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. Here, she found and cultivated her passion for using data science and machine learning to (1) enhance the daily lives of people interacting with technology and (2) personalize the healthcare experience. During her capstone, she worked with the Nock Lab on processing and utilizing wearable data for suicide research.

In the recent past she worked as a college advanced mathematics tutor, a data science mentor to high-school students, and a 3D printing specialist for the school of engineering. Most recently, she worked for Google Research as a Responsible AI and Equitable Human-Computer Interaction student researcher.

In her freetime, she enjoys running, weightlifting, rock climbing, and reading. She’s also a big fan of all things space and sci-fi.
