Felipe graduated from the University of Iowa in 2023 with a B.S. in Psychology where he worked as an undergraduate research assistant investigating the epidemiology of modifiable mechanisms (i.e., experiential avoidance and psychological flexibility) and the efficacy of transdiagnostic mindfulness-based interventions, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. He is interested in utilizing EMA to better understand the human experience, as well as the ethical application and dissemination of mindfulness-based tools and psychedelic-assisted therapies within underserved populations; Felipe plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Outside of research, he enjoys playing pick up soccer, reading, and sipping tea with friends & family.
