Ash Kim
Ash Kim is an undergraduate research assistant in the Nock Lab, studying psychology at Harvard College. She was selected for the 2025 cohort of the APA Summer Undergraduate Psychology Experience in Research (SUPER) Fellowship and received summer funding from the Harvard College Research Program (HCRP) to pursue her senior thesis on emergency department clinicians’ perspectives on suicide risk and treatment decisions. She is also involved in the WMH-ICS qualitative study, exploring pathways to care among college students with suicidal thoughts and behaviors (STBs), as well as decision-making around suicide methods among students with STBs. Ash is interested in suicide interventions, self-injury, and mood disorders, and intends to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology. Outside of research, she enjoys playing guitar and drums in a hardcore rock band, doing embroidery, and hiking.
