Nancy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s College of Arts and Sciences, studying Health and Societies with a minor in Consumer Psychology. She currently works as a research assistant on a psychiatric inpatient monitoring study investigating real time monitoring of suicidal thoughts and behaviors through the use of ecological momentary assessment and wearable technology. She also works as a Clinical Trials Assistant Project Manager in the J.P. Kistler Stroke Research Center at MGH, where she works on an observational study investigating post cognitive impairment mechanisms following a stroke and administers neurocognitive batteries to patients in the aftermath of their stroke event to assess cognitive deficits. Her research interests include working to understand self-destructive behaviors through the lens of real time monitoring applications to inform the design of interventions for those at high risk of suicide. Nancy ultimately plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the lab, she enjoys hiking, swimming, reading and exploring the Boston area.
