Genesis is a research assistant in the Nock Lab, where her interest in the field of suicide prevention first began as an undergraduate at Harvard. Genesis is also a PhD candidate in Clinical Psychology at Catholic University, contributing to the adaptation of CAMS for suicidal adolescents with her mentor Dr. David Jobes. Her research interests aim to 1) assist youth grappling with self-injurious thoughts and behaviors and 2) assess related interpersonal processes in an effort to strengthen supportive relationships. Clinically, she has previously trained in and conducted bilingual (Spanish) CBT and DBT-A. Genesis will be completing her upcoming pre-doctoral internship at McLean hospital.
