 Dr. Kate Bentley is an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School, Director of the Suicide Prevention Research Program in the Center for Precision Psychiatry at the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), and a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Department of Psychiatry at MGH. She is also a Research Associate at Harvard University. She received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Boston University in 2017 and completed her pre-doctoral internship at MGH. Her research is focused on the development, evaluation, and implementation of scalable transdiagnostic interventions for suicidal and nonsuicidal self-injurious thoughts and behaviors and frequently co-occurring disorders. She is also particularly interested in the application of mobile devices to better understand these phenomena and provide support to high-risk individuals in real-time.
