Adam is a data scientist exploring how the real-time monitoring of people’s affect and physiology can more effectively predict their suicidal thoughts and behaviors. He ultimately hopes to leverage these predictions to build better risk-assessment tools for clinicians. Previously, Adam was a postdoctoral researcher building computational models of fast and slow decision-making. He also remains passionate about teaching probability and statistics to help people make better everyday judgments. He received a BA in Cognitive Science and MA in Philosophy from Brown University and a PhD in Psychology from Yale University.
